86155 EJJ. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.8/MA.27.7.34. AERO ENGINE REVOLUTION INDICATORS. We have as you know considered that the electrical revolution indicator would be preferable for use on the test beds. The Record Co., market an extremely reliable indicator and we have received a quotation from them for an ordinary D.C.Tachometer type as supplied to the Air Ministry and a small alternating current type such as is now used for commercial vehicle work. We recommend that we immediately obtain one of each of these revolution indicators as per their quotation, and we shall be glad if you will order the same for experimental test on the aero engine test beds.
