2.

go ahead with 1.B.50 and 2.B.5.

You will notice we have instituted a small bead around the top and sides of the scuttle at the end of the bonnet on both of these bodies, similar to the bead which we believe Sales have standardised on top of the scuttle in a similar position on all Rolls-Royce models. The purpose of this bead is to stop water running down the scuttle and passing under the bonnet, and also to mask the inequalities of the fit between the bonnet and scuttle.

As the urgency for the body of 2.B.5. is not great, we suggest that in view of the slight uncertainty of the chassis situation, we should go very slowly with the body, until the writer calls on you on a suitable day next week, when you let him know you are ready for him.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
