JACK PADS FITTED TO REAR AXLE. Origin. To reduce difficulties of obtaining satisfactory jack. Experimental Test Report. At present owing to the difference in height of the front and rear axles there is great difficulty in obtaining a jack which will fulfill all conditions. The 6.75" tyres have made it worse. Road Test Report. Fitted to 12-EX. Apart from reducing the jack difficulty, it is a great advantage to have a definite plate to jack up from. [Action Box] X is marked on B.
