gearing has a better chance of getting being silent. You will remember that it is considered by us at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town that the Americans are much more successful at cutting quiet gears than we generally get done in England. This is entirely a work-manship problem, as there is practically no difference between the pitches and the number of teeth used by us and the Americans.
