Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/MA.4.10.35.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is leaving for France today with the Large Bore Bentley for a brief holiday. I am hoping to come over with Hancock, crossing on Thursday next, to be in Paris on Thursday evening. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will probably be in Paris on Friday with the Bentley.

I would like to take the opportunity of trying out any cars which may be of interest in comparison with the SpectreCodename for Phantom III and the Large Bore Bentley. I know you are very busy at show time but possibly in exchange for a run on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III we could get the latest "3.3" Bugatti, 12 cylinder Hispano, Mercedes, or anything else of interest. I do not expect to be in Paris more than one day.

I am sorry to say that the first Large Bore Bentley which we put into an early type chassis is not anything like as smooth as the other one we are running about and we have not had time to investigate this.

Yours ever,

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
