Dear Sirs, We have run an endurance test on the sample inlet and exhaust valves you supplied us with some time ago and they have come through up to the present time without failure so that we regard them as being very promising. Since our last order of the sample valves in question, the size of our valves has been reduced and we should like a further batch of valves for trial as follows. 24 inlet valves forged to approx. size of EX.29686 in your own 7.5/8.5% Chrome 24 Exhaust valves forged to approx. size of EX.29687 in your 18 to 20% chrome steel. We shall be pleased to get the above as soon as you can conveniently produce.
