HOBSON PETROL GAUGE. X 4038.

We have asked Messrs. Claudel Hobsons to send you details of their latest balanced pipe unit.

The main feature of this is that the small casting already designed by you for the tank unit requires 2 connections, one as at present, and a second for the balance pipe. The small casting is used as a pressure trap.

We should be obliged if you will let us have a scheme showing this casting with 2 connections.

Owing to its position in the tank, the pressure balance cuts off the dashboard unit when the latter reads 13 1/2 gallons.

The tank holds 14 1/2 gallons. By making the casting into a dome, we cannot see why the dashboard unit should not be arranged to shew the full 14 gallons at least.
