Minute No.1.
Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

Reference was made to the 100 sets and Sft.{Mr Swift} said he was short of instructions for:-
(A) Inlet Pipes.
(B) Carburetter.
(C) Air Silencer.
(D) Water Connections.
(E) Wire Fittings.
(F) Radiator Fittings.
(G) Flywheel & Clutch.
(H) Instrument Panel.
(I) Change Speed Lever.

2. Wheels.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} enquired the position regarding road wheels.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said he now has another set of R.W. wheels for trial. The first set were not satisfactory but better results were expected from this later set.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that either Rudge Whitworth or Dunlops are able to deliver wheels in three weeks' time.

3. Springs.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} enquired the position regarding springs.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} said Woodhead Springs would be used on the 15 and on the 100 chassis.
Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} said the springs on the 15 chassis will be of similar strength to the experimental chassis.

4. Shutters.
The question of radiator shutters was raised by Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and he said that as it is already decided that shutters will not be standard, the 15 chassis should not be fitted with them. The instructions for this section should, therefore, be amended and radiators built so that any kind of guard or grille can be fitted as soon as a final decision on this feature is made.

5. Bodies.
The question of bodies for the 15 chassis was discussed and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} telephoned to C. and informed him of the urgency and that some bodies would be required early in August.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} said he would endeavour to get C. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} and EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to come to Derby next week to settle the details of bodies so that the work can go ahead without delay.
