Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}1/KW.7.1.39. This car has now been handed over to the Repair Dept. The approximate mileage of the body is 50,600 miles, engine and gearbox have done 25,000 in the chassis, previous to this the engine was used on the test bed, we have arranged with Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} to have the engine stripped. The rear axle 10 x 43 ratio was fitted with the overdrive gearbox, and has done 25,000 miles. The total frame mileage is 104,662. When completed the car will be half M series and half L series. The overdrive gearbox, 10 x 43 rear axle, fixed shutters and thermostat in the engine being M series, the rest of the chassis be equivalent to L series.
