C O P Y. WELTON HALL, NR. BROUGH, EAST YORKSHIRE. 19th. December, 1928. Telephone:190 Brough. Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 10/W5.11.28. Dear Sirs, 20HP. Rolls-Royce Chassis GYL-62. Since the return of my car from your Works on or about the 5th. ult., I have used it on long and short runs from time to time. I note that after certain alterations you made to another set of Shock Absorbers, and fitted them to my car, they did not knock. I am unable to understand how it is that they still continue to knock, and are unpleasant. I am still hopeful that with your experiments you will shortly be able to embody such improvements that will ensure the silent running of the car and enable me even yet to say that the car is perfectly satisfactory. Yours faithfully, (Sgd). S.W.Pilling. | ||
