OUR REF. JAH/AR.

YOUR REF.

22nd. March. 1941.

W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Esq.,
Rolls Royce Limited.
DERBY.

Dear Sir,

Mr. Devereux has passed your letter of the 13th, and his reply of the 21st. instant on to me, and if convenient to you I would like to come up with Mr. Warrington and Mr. Robinson after April 1st.

I have been meaning to contact you for some time, because in the early part of '39 before the war, we made up some aluminium alloy brake drums for you, under Mr. Stuart Tresilian's instructions, but at the beginning of the war this work was dropped.

We still have here two completely machined brake drums with deposited linings of monochrome, and two drums with the liners cast in, using the method we found so successful on Staniland's Multi-Union. I will bring these up with me, if you are interested.

If you could give us some idea of the problem mentioned in your letter before we come to see you, it might make our visit of greater value.

Yours faithfully,

For and on behalf of
HIDUMINIUM ENGINEERING LTD.
