HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Strikethrough] ORIGINAL 15-EX. X7720 [Strikethrough] X7430 X7380 X-7250 [Strikethrough] You told us that 15-EX. will be rebuilt as an ordinary chassis, and not a sports chassis, and that it will have a long frame. We think it would be well for you to fit this car with the new proposed radiator, bonnet, and dash, which we intend to use on G.2. B. series, and that it should have an 'E' type column. Although we have not fixed up with Sales exactly what 'E' type steering will be, we do know that it will be not more than 2" lower than 'D' type, and possibly will be 1 1/2". Our 4" lower than 'D', or the sports steering, will still have a separate identity, and will be in no way connected with 'E' steering.
