Description of Parts: Modified dist. head and base to Lec. 2121X and D.71005/6 providing for better ventilation.
Origin: To reduce corrosive effects of nitrous gases generated in the distributor.

Part List:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
Experimental Test Report.

"Various bench tests have proved that the rusting of the steel parts and corrosion of the metal parts which occurs in the distributor head is considerably reduced by the provision of more ventilation".
Road Test Report.
Ran 10,000 miles on 8-EX car in France.
Fitted to 7-EX and 11-EX.
Run 2000 miles.
No trouble - recommended for standardisation.
