RE DOUBLE THRUST FOR BACK AXLE.

R, has made certain decisions in regard to standardising a double ball thrust for the pinion on new cars and present single thrust for old cars in service or on test, with the plain thrust removed and the overhung thrust taken up on the journal bearing.

The question of where, and how, to bring this alteration in demands careful consideration. I think we should have a Works Committee meeting on the subject.
