Need to develop and test the new EAC.10 engine and chassis for standardisation, noting the urgency of the project.

We shall require also to make one EAC.10 type
engine for test bed tests.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} is very anxious that EAC.10 should be pushed
forward as rapidly as possible. We should therefore like
your agreement to go ahead with the work.

At the moment we are on;y proposing making one
of these new chassis (EAC.10.) We shall require, however,
at least 6 of these cars when it is agreed that they should
be tested with the object of standardising this type for
production. Changing from the present Phantom to EAC.10
will mean a much bigger change than when we fitted the Phantom
engine into a standard Silver Ghost chassis.
