GRYLLS Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited D E R B Y. For the attention of EXPERIMENTAL DEPT: Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favour of the 15th instant, and are pleased to note that you are quite clear that the Jacks have not been dismantled at your works at any time. If therefore you would have the others in your possession returned to us, we will apply our revised method of locking, to these, and return without further delay. With regard to your last paragraph, unfortunately - assuming that the pump you are using now has a rubber cup in which various control valves are fixed - we are not able to reproduce any similar to this without infringement of patents. We are continuing to pursue this matter, however, and hope eventually to produce a satisfactory arrangement. Would you please, in returning the Jacks, mark them for the attention of this Department. Yours faithfully, AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY LTD., C. CLENCH, Development Department.
