To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Maybach Car.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}25/E9.2.31

We have had a telephone message from von Winterfeldt reading as follows:

"You can have a Maybach 7 litre engine - 7 seater Limousine for Mks.27,000 nett - delivery Berlin, immediate delivery.

"8 litre engine in 4/8 weeks @ Mks.38,400 less 10%, i.e. Mks.34,600. approx

There are evidently two types. Personally I did not know this.

Will you please telephone to-morrow and let me know which you think we ought to tell von Winterfeldt that we want.

The nett differemce in the prices seems to be about £380.
