R.R. 225A (100 T) (S.H 159. 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2600 X8536 TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} S E C R E T. R6/M12.5.24. re. E.A.C.2. INSTRUMENT BOARD. X8530 We are about to consider some designs for an improved grouping and illumination of the instrument board for this car. Will you please therefore send us as soon as possible a set of instruments such as are supplied by Derby for each chassis. These we believe will consist of:- (1) Nameplate. (G.11. type perhaps would be used.) (2) Oil Gauge. (New small variety.) (3) Thermometer. (4) Ammeter. (5) Speedometer. (A.T. we presume.) The switch would be like G.11. and we have one of these. We are obtaining a clock from London. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Handwritten notes: To JHP HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Parts Sent 15/5/24 RAE | ||
