GEARBOX B.III No.1 for 8.B.V. After removing this gearbox from 1.B.50 certain modifications are required before it is fitted in 8.B.V. These are:- (1) Refit 12º top and overdrive cones. (2) Fit 9º 2nd speed cones with synchromesh plungers. (3) Reverse shaft with twice the slant it has now. (4) New top and 3rd sliding piece corrected to the latest drawings.
