HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.12/AP.28.5.37 We shall shortly want to try out the thermostat scheme to LeC.5655 which you are making for 6.B.lV. with an alternative bye-pass return pipe from the thermostat body connected to the water hotspot bodies (similar to the scheme which you have fitted up on B.23.AE. for us) as shewn on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}386. Will you please therefore detail and make the necessary unions, banjos and pipe together with distance pieces for raising the air silencer to clear the connections, so that there will be no delay in fitting up the scheme when we get the parts for scheme LeC.5655. The alternative bypass pipe which we wish to try will run from the outlet union on end cover EB.3320 to the top of each hot spot body on the induction pipe (unions replacing the core plugs at these points) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
