To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 260a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.1/JH.29.5.37. Woodhead Rear Springs for 6.B.IV. We have now tested the lubrication system on the above springs and are sending them into the fitting shop. One spring is Cadmium plated and should be fitted to near side of the chassis, the other spring is not plated. Both springs are lubricated from the centre bolts and will require pipe lines through the spring anchorage brackets from number 3 bijur restriction plugs.
