Reverting to the old type of rear spare wheel carrier for the first 100 'E' Series cars.

In view of the difficulties which have arisen in regard to the rear spare wheel carrier and luggage grid, owing to no spare wheel side carrier being prepared to suit it, it will be necessary for us to revert to the old type for the first 100 in "E" Series at any rate.

As we cannot use the spare wheel carrier at the back without using an improved scheme for the side spare wheel carriers, and since the latter certainly demands 10,000 miles test, it is obvious we have no option but the above.
