HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} ~~BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}~~ ~~Copy to~~ BJ. " WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} ORIGINAL R3/M28.8.28. EAC. 10. [Handwritten:] ~~X7770~~ ~~X7250~~ ~~X7830~~ X 7500 Mr. Wormald brought a list of parts waiting for designs. Fortunately most of these were well in hand, but some were only _created_ during the holiday - i.e. radiator, support for same, and starting handle. They are parts belonging to the final part of the chassis, and one thinks the great thing will be to get a suitable large sized, chauffeur driven body ready in time. Perhaps one like EAC. 7. would be good - 6 seater, cabriolet de ville, with rear part of roof fixed, or double limousine with leather or fabric roof. We had proposed certain features on the radiator which have now been achieved - i.e. deep, narrow, and high radiator, with handle through matrix when shutters are open. I am now anxious that the middle of the dash and scuttle shall not be too high for best appearance. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
