Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Experimental Department, Derby. Dear Robotham, I am acknowledging your letter of 25th inst., addressed to Billy, as he is at the moment away in India. We should certainly be very pleased for you to come to Coventry and would welcome a meeting with you. Naturally, we also have done considerable work on carburettors and I, therefore, hope the meeting will be of mutual benefit. I am sending this correspondence through to Mr. Winter at Coventry, who is in charge of our Engineering Department, and have asked him to get in touch with you to make an appointment. Usually I am at the Factory on Tuesday and Wednesday, so if you happen to be over then, I shall look forward to seeing you. With kindest regards, Yours sincerely, R.C. Rootes. | ||
