LONDON, W.1.

Dear Rootes,

I was wondering whether you would mind my going over to Coventry and discussing carburation with your Engineers. We have certain problems in common and we have recently done a lot of work on downdraught carburetters, and I think that such a meeting might be to the advantage of both companies.

We have really, technically, seen very little of the Humber Company since Mr. Wishart's visit with the de Normanville gearbox, but sometimes I think it is wrong that we should know so little of our neighbours and yet make frequent trips to America to see Companies thousands of miles away.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
