WIDNEY TRITHERM. LOW PRESSURE STEAM OR WATER HEATER. FOR MOTOR CAR INTERIORS. (Patent No. 492287. Further Patents applied for.) The Widney Tritherm Heater has been very carefully designed in order to overcome the present difficulties attendant on water systems of heating. It can be used either as a low pressure steam heater or as an ordinary hot water heater. It has a three stage heating system and its further special features are:- 1. It is not dependent on a water pump for circulation. 2. It can be installed with a separate water system if desired. (In this case, means to prevent undue loss of water are provided). 3. It is absolutely independent of thermostats, which are frequently a cause of trouble with water heaters, particularly when the water is mineralised. 4. There is no need to use a Radiator muff in cold weather to get sufficient heat from the heater. 5. The heat is quick and can be regulated from inside the car, making it possible to shut off the heat entirely and circulate only cold air. 6. The electric motor used is kept cool always by a constant stream of cool air over it. 7. Effective means of preventing air-locks are provided. 8. Heat is evenly distributed, principally to drivers' and passengers' feet. 9. While in operation the radiator is pleasingly illuminated. 10. Defrosting is effected most efficiently by a special type fan. Manufacturers:- Hallam, Sleigh & Cheston. Price £6. 17. 6d. Further particulars will be available shortly.
