X766 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EFC. BY16/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21. 1. 25. B.J. has written me stating that summer will be approaching before long, and he is under the impression that we have some remedy that we can apply to cars in regard to which the customers have complained with reference to water boiling. I have told him the position as I know it at the moment, and have added further that the increased efficiency of the fan has been obtained from an H.P. and thrust point of view, but that we do not know exactly what this means in regard to air speed through the radiator, and that tests to settle this point are being carried out. I would like to know as soon as possible what advantage if any is obtained by the use of the improved type fans which have been run under tests by EFC, when used under road conditions. BY.{R.W.
