GROUND CLEARANCE. -------------------- We must increase our ground clearance with tyres below the torque rods to 4.250 on full bump. I would prefer to attain this by raising the frame line the least possible amount. I do not see much advantage in making the torque lever to enclose the cross steering coupling, as it is mainly stressed in bending moment, and one should therefore be able to curve the lever in question. I am not inclined to think that the piece is seriously stressed, as a strut or radius rod, as apparently the triangle lever should take care of the fore and aft loading.
