I shall be able to give you this information when we settle down to ordinary business, but I am afraid during the next two or three weeks it will be difficult for us to estimate the position.

As a matter of fact, the impression I have is that we shall not fit nearly so many of the standard bodies as we had expected, there will be quite a number of special bodies. From your point of view this will mean different poundage in springs presumably, but we can send you next week the orders we have received up to date for standard bodies.

Of course we send erection instructions for each chassis to the Works a good period before the date for delivery, and as we have sold out some time ahead this ought in itself to do away with a good deal of the trouble of getting urgent delivery of springs.

Perhaps you will consider if this is sufficient for you and let me know what form you would like our weekly chit to take.

C.
