Further to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/KW.28.9.36.

Inlet valves EB.279 S/SLV with diametrical clearance in the guides between .0015-.002" limits.

Nos. 4, 5 & 6 exhaust valves were in S/SLV stellited on tips and seats, and of the new strengthened type of head LeC.5141. The diametrical clearance in the guides is .0015-.002" limits.
