Re. Kinsman Hand Operated Tyre Pump.

With reference to the Kinsman sample tyre pump submitted some little time ago, we have examined this article here, and in addition have sent it to Sales where it was examined by the Sales Conference. We sent a report to Sales in which we pointed out that this pump was more efficient, lighter and cheaper than the present Nesthill pump. 'Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}' in his reply states "after weighing up the points that you have mentioned, the Sales Conference came to the unanimous conclusion that it would be preferable to continue to supply the Nesthill foot pump with the kit of our chassis. It was felt that there would be a serious objection to reverting to a hand pump, even though, as your figures show, it is probably more efficient."

Will you therefore please communicate with the makers, giving them our views, which incidentally have not altered since the designer called to see us. We will send the sample pump into stores for despatch upon receipt of a covering note from you.
