The Sales Conference here yesterday considered the respective merits of the Kinsman hand pump and the Nesthill foot pump, and, after weighing up the points that you have mentioned, they came to the unanimous conclusion that it would be preferable to continue to supply the Nesthill foot pump with the kit of our chassis. It was felt that there would be serious objection to reverting to a hand pump, even though, as your figures show, it is probably more efficient. The Kinsman hand pump of course looks a much cheaper article than the other, and that alone may, we feel, bring forth many complaints. Whilst we therefore appreciate the trouble you have taken in selecting what appears to be a more efficient, cheaper and lighter job, we still feel that the Nesthill foot pump would be more pleasing to the customers who receive it, and who of course don't know that there is such a cheap, light and efficient hand pump on the market. I am returning to you the sample pump which you sent. Sample pump attached to Derby Bag. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
