Re Adhesion of new Bearing Alloy

Further to our conversation of this morning I wish to confirm that adhesion appears to be made more consistent by sandblasting the inner surface of the steel shells with a coarse sand followed by heating for about 5 minutes at 550 to 650°C prior to the usuall pickling in acid for tinning it.
A set of bearings for Bentley could be made according to these modifications.
