oy Exptl. Dept. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KW. 27th November, 1935. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley, Esq., The Cadillac Motor Car Company, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Dear Cy, Thank you for your letter of November 12th. I need hardly say how delighted we should all be to see you again! I am not sure that our method of manufacturing the product is as refreshing as our method of selling it! It does seem that we are not alone in our confusion of thought, as we had a cable on Monday to say that Pontiacs are rapidly discarding cadmium bearings, and on Tuesday to say that Graham-Paige think the world of them and are having no trouble on production. With regard to bringing the Phantom III over to the States, there is just a possibility that I may make the trip in the Fall of 1936. Herewith a booklet on the Girling Brake layout, which as a compromise we think is the best mechanical arrangement we know of. Kindest regards to Mrs. Olley. Yours sincerely, | ||
