CADILLAC MOTOR CAR COMPANY DETROIT, MICHIGAN CADILLAC AND LA{L. A. Archer} SALLE MOTOR CARS November 12, 1935. Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Rolls-Royce, Limited, Derby, England. Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}: Thanks for your note of October 21. We shall be very glad to give a hand of friendship to Day and Grylls. I hope before very long to get to England and see the Phantom III. Also to persuade you perhaps to bring one over and let us try it on our own roads. (The GM Corporation is, of course, not able to afford the cost of buying one.) It would do us good to see a wishbone suspension really carried to its ultimate development. In a whole world of motor manufacturers each of whom is practically fainting with admiration at his own intelligence it is refreshing to read the R.R. announcement that they are "able to accept orders for the new P III chassis". Was just talking to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Crane about you and we have the distinct impression that you know how to sell your stuff. Hope to see you all before long. Yours, Maurice Olley M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley H | ||
