X266a HOTEL DE FRANCE. CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/3/JAB. 19th April 1936. To. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From. G.W.H. B. 56. BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} BENTLEY. The car had been built up and ran a day's mileage, upon my arrival. The report on the steering does not seem satisfactory. I shall therefore take the car to Paris and let them check the frame etc.,up. The Axle must have received a severe blow to have taken the angle it was, and sprung the top leaf of the Near-side road spring. A report will be sent in due course after the examination. Please inform K.Scholes & Dixon that the early morning train for Châteauroux, now leaves from the Gare d'Orsay at 7.3 A.M. ------------- [Signature: GWH{George W.
