EFC. WC.78. COPY 20.2.28. CONDENSER NO. MO.55 EX CHASSIS 55 RF. The condenser was unwound in the laboratory to ascertain the cause of breakdown. A puncture of the oil paper insulation was discovered at the point where the sheet tin connectors are inserted. Apparently a small particle of foreign matter was introduced with the connector which during subsequent compression partially penetrated the oil paper and led to the failure. EFC/H.E.West. | ||
