| 1297. To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to G/JWH. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}11/JH.29.9.38. In reply to memo. G/WFH/CA.14/NR.27.9.38. an official order shou'd be sent to Burgess Products Co.Ltd. for 1 X422 exhaust silencer now fitted to 7.B.V. car O/N.52444 and 2 X431/2 exhaust silencers fitted to 26.G.VI car O/N.52439. These silencers were actually received by us during June and July last and have been used on our cars ever since. As we now intend to keep them they should be paid for.
