-2- To overcome this, we allow generous sized drain holes in the casing between gland and bearing. A water flinger on the shaft would provide an extra guard against water contact with bearing. The material of our gland ring is "Celeron", but "The Morgan Crucible Co" could supply a suitable grade of carbon ring if you desired that material.
