Huckerby} 24th. March 1938. Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr.Price. . Dear Sirs, We have decided to do some further testing on 30° cone angle wheels before using them on production. The first 100 sets of Wraith equipment can go ahead at 10°. Our Order Office will send you official intimation of this. Experimentally we should like to modify a further 12 wheels to 30°. We shall send these in two batches to Coventry to Mr.Sharp and should be glad if you would arrange to altehrthe cone angle and send back the wheels with nuts to suit half right hand and half left hand. We should like the nuts to be chromium plated. No writing is necessary on them except that we should like a small "30" marked on them and also painted or stencilled on all modified wheels. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
