(3) Servo squeaks, due to continued light use in London traffic.
(4) Rusting up of hand brake adjustment.
(5) Rattles in steering column controls due to hardening of felt bush.
(6) Clocks unreliable.

25/30 HP. Chassis.

(1) Pistons. There have been one or two cases of these seizing on top band after decarboning. Pending investigations of this, which is at the present being done experimentally, Depots have been instructed to remove carbon from the top band of piston, and also to chamfer the top of the piston to reduce the depth of top band.
(2) Brakes inefficient.
(3) Engine gear rattles.
(4) Servo squeaks due to continued light use in London traffic.

Bentley.

(1) Bearings. (3 1/4 litre). We are about to recommend the use of Halls metal big ends in conjunction with large oil pumps for hard drivers, such as G.Eyston.

4 1/4 Litre. Strongly recommend complete Mod.C. as being the most economical in the long run.

(2) Failure of pinion bearings on rear axle, with all latest recommendations.
(3) Rattles in steering controls due to hardening of felt bush, average of 10 complaints per month.

To sum up, there does not seem to be any outstanding item of complaint which could be usefully discussed at a Service Conference.
