VOLTAGE REGULATORS.
Type B.2.C.J.1.

Chassis No.B.32.AH.
Owner. Nigel Holder.

Further to my memo K/KC/DPB/29.1.35, this chassis was sent to K yesterday for the same trouble detailed in my memo of the 29th of January, i.e.main dynamo fuse blowing.

So far, the chassis has been in to K twice, the first occasion being 28.1.35, and the second occasion being 4.2.35.

This morning Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} of the London Showrooms rang up stating that Holder had been to them with some idea about making an adjustment to the regulator itself.

I told him that under no consideration would I make any adjustment to a voltage regulator unless this adjustment was authorised by you, apart from the fact that I was of the opinion that it was not a question of adjustment, but just a question that Mr.Holder had been extremely unlucky in having two regulators fitted in which the points had been inclined to stick.

As a matter of routine he is passing along this complaint to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} (H) so I have no doubt that you will be hearing in due course from them.

As far as we are concerned here, the job is standard in every respect, the voltage regulator functions normally and apparently this sticking business develops after leaving us.

The voltage regulator under discussion is being returned to you under cover of our advice note No.1926, its number being 30752, type B.2.C.J.1.
