re Buick Car.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E5.12.34

We have finished with this in London and I have given instructions for it to be sent up to you.

I had it weighed and the running weight, i.e. full of petrol, is 32 cwt., which in view of the size of the car seems a very fine achievement.

The speedometer is like the usual American speedometers, i.e. misleading but very cleverly schemed as follows:

Speed Indicator. Timed speed.
40 40
60 57.8
70 65.3
80 72.8
86 76

The maximum speed of the car on the speedometer is about 86 which in actual fact you will see is about 76 miles an hour.

The price of the car, I understand, is about £430.
