TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to --SD. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/WD.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3.2.37. RECEIVED X7250 X1085 EAC.8. RADIATOR SHUTTERS & BONNET: X7260 As you know we are endeavouring to come to an agreement regarding some modifications to the proportions of the the/radiator and bonnet so as to obtain certain advantages from the coachwork point of view without losing the appearance. We send herewith N. schs. 2346., 2350., 2353., 2357., and 2359. All these drawings have to receive R's approval, and in the case of those dealing with the appear-ance they have to be approved at a discussion which it is intended to hold in Derby in the near future. Therefore until this general agreement is come to it is not desirable to begin any detailing. All that we should like to do is to have a model in wood made to N. sch. 2350. so as to compare it with the Sales proposal which we have illustrated on N. scheme 2359. We understand that there are 2 or 3 models in wood already in existence, one of which could be converted to N. sch.2350. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
