EFC. o/By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X7791 Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}17/T30.10.28 re EW.6. Magnetos With reference to EFC1/T24.10.28 and the letter from Messrs Norths. We do not agree with Messrs Norths that the brush squeaks only occur when magnetos have been standing for some time, or that the noise will cease after running a short time. Our experience is that the squeaks develop on magnetos in service, and do not disappear until the brush has been rebedded. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} [Signature] | ||
