DERBY.
June: 8th: 1938.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Mr. Skinner, of the S.U. Carburetter Co. Ltd., has sent to me a copy of the letter dated May 30th. which he received from you and to which he suggests I should reply.

As you probably know, we have taken over the whole of the manufacture of "Plowen" pistons from the S.U. Company and have looked up all the records of drawings and material which we received from them but, unfortunately, we can find neither drawings nor tools appertaining to any piston used by you.

Consequently we are, of course, unable to supply any experimental pistons or quote you for any production quantities.

Yours sincerely,
MORRIS MOTORS LTD., ENGINES BRANCH,

J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Shaw

MANAGING DIRECTOR.
