STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts.
Modification to machining of Rear Axle Thrust housing.

Origin.
To assist in producing quiet rear axles.

Experimental Test Report.
This modification only alters the machining slightly. Our axle quietening Dept. have reported that this modification is an assistance to them.

Road Test Report.
Run 500 miles in England.
Has been adopted as standard on 40/50 H.P. cars made at Springfield, for four or five months.
