THE S.U. COMPANY. CONTINUATION NO. 2 Anyway, I am getting a pump through with a stronger spring for you to see what happens, but candidly we have had no actual experience of these, so cannot definitely say what will be the result. As regards your last paragraph, we have only had one case of burning points which was undoubtedly due to the battery lead breaking and running direct off the dynamo. I should very much like to see the contacts in question. We have found these points so satisfactory that we were seriously considering going on to silver points on our cheaper pump. We have made long tests and these have stood up for considerable periods. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, PDSkinner | ||
