(4) link to get out of the way of the window regulator and fixing screws for the chromium plated body mouldings which will be very likely to cause rattles. I am wondering if it will be advisable to have the inside handle carried forward and possibly attached to the lock plate. I should be obliged if you would have this looked into and let me have your comments.

(5) The fixings for chromium plated mouldings on the rear door I think are still unsatisfactory and liable to cause trouble, as all the pull of the outside handle is taken by the moulding which is depending on one fixing screw at the end through the flange of the door, the next screw being behind the lock which is at least 6 1/2" away. If there was some means by which the handle could be secured in the lock follower, a lot of this strain would be relieved.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED.
