contd :- -2- A definite stop is being made to limit the upward movement of the fan and will not allow the blades to foul the controls. This is to be fitted to all cars on production. Gearbox and Actuating Gear to LOP. 76764. Difficulty in changing from 2nd. to 3rd. This is being carefully gone into. It is proposed to chamfer the selectors to allow for slight inaccuracies in alignment. Flywheel & Clutch to LOP. G.76591. Clutch slipping due to oil retaining groove and drain not being efficient. It is proposed to enlarge the drain holes, but is being held up for examination of clutch. Cross Steering Tube LOP. 77482. Steering tube fouled front hydraulic dampers. The new cross steering tube with the double set entirely overcomes the fouling of the dampers. It is to be used on production cars. Front Axle & Brakes, to LOP.G.77305. Excessive front braking. The front braking is being reduced on production cars i.e. 1.375" levers on the countershaft restrictions in the Bijurs supplying oil to the ball ends of the cross steering tube is to be taken out as tested in France for production cars. Rear Shock dampers. LOP.F.79925. Oil leaks from counter-sunk screws in valve caps These are to be soldered as tested in France for all production cars. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
